SUMMARY:PIJINUISKAQ (LAHAVE RIVER) PARADE OF PADDLERS – Celebrating Bridgewater’s 125th Anniversary
DESCRIPTION:Let’s celebrate Bridgewater’s 125th ON the LaHave!\nIn honour of the 125th Anniversary of the Town of Bridgewater\, the Town\, CKNS and Cape LaHave Adventures are hosting a parade of 125 paddlers on the LaHave River/Pijinuiskaq. The goal is to have 125 paddlers – in canoes\, big canoes\, kayaks\, and SUPs – paddle together on Pijinuiskaq. Let’s inspire the community to connect with the beautiful LaHave River/Pijinuiskaq! \nWe’ll start at Shipyards Landing\, paddle up the river\, under the ‘old’ bridge and up to the ‘new’ bridge and back\, approximately a 2km paddle – what a sight to see and be a part of! \nRegistration is FREE\, but you must register to confirm your participation\, and acknowledge the requirements to be on the water for this event. \nBring your own canoe\, kayak\, or standup paddle board\, or rent one from Cape LaHave Adventures. \nSee all the details and register at the link below.
