DESCRIPTION:The Every Child Matters project is a collaboration between the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia and five Mi’kmaq artists: Tara Francis\, Gerald Gloade\, Phyllis Grant\, Lorne Julien\, and Noella Moore. As part of the project\, the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia and Mi’kmaq artists worked with 49 rug hookers worked to create 66 rugs. The project aims to raise awareness for Residential School survivors and the families of the missing children\, and it is ongoing.
