DESCRIPTION:Join us!\nBridgewater\, by way of it’s Centennial Trail\, is interconnected to more than 125kms of maintained trails within\, and beyond the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg. \nAs part of Bridgewater’s 125th Anniversary festivities and the Harvest Moon Music Festival (Sept 20-21)\, on Saturday September 21st\, riders from near and far are invited to join us for an 11km return community ride\, along the historic\, and picturesque\, LaHave River. \nFollow along the LaHave by way of the Centennial Trail-LaHave River Trail for a scenic ride between Bridgewater to Cookville Provincial Park (on Rte 12) and back. \nTo mark the 125th Anniversary – maybe we’ll reach 125 riders! \nProudly presenting this fun ride in partnership with Cycling Nova Scotia is the Town of Bridgewater\, Municipality of the District of Lunenburg\, the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre and Sweet Ride Cycling. \nRegistration Fee:\nFREE\, but you must register! \nRiding Level:\nAll levels – fun for the whole family! \nRide Duration:\nApproximately 90 minutes\, including a rest/refreshment break at Cookville Provincial Park\, along the edge of the LaHave River. \nFacilities:\nA portable washroom is available at the trailhead. \nParking: Limited parking is available at the trailhead\, nearby along LaHave Street\, parking can be done readside and in vacant parking lots between LaHave Street and its intersection with Aberdeen Road. \nEquipment:\nBring your bicycle\, helmet and waterbottle.\nNOTE: Don’t have a bike\, but want to come along borrow one from the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre’s Bike Borrowing Program\, see details here: https://www.ymcasouthwestns.ca/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Bike-Loan-info-1.pdf \nRegistration Desk:\nOpen 12:30pm – 1:30pm\, Saturday Sept 21\, at the trailhead parking lot at 781 LaHave Street\, Bridgewater. \nIf you have questions\, or have any difficulties with registering please email mike.todd@sportnovascotia.ca or call Cycling Nova Scotia at 902-377-2961
