DESCRIPTION:SAVE THE DATE!\nThe Town of Bridgewater is excited to announce that the 2024 Christmas on the LaHave Parade of Lights\, proudly presented by Gow’s Home Hardware and Rhyno’s Heating\, Refrigeration\, Plumbing and Electrical. will take place on Saturday\, November 30. \nMark your calendars and get ready to kick off the Bridgewater Shines festive season in style! The parade will depart the NSCC Lunenburg Campus on High Street at approximately 6 p.m. Weather permitting\, fireworks will take place courtesy of the Bridgewater Fire Department fireworks experts following the arrival of Santa himself in Downtown Bridgewater at apx 7:15 p.m. \nParade registration application packages and details will be available in late October via the Town’s website at www.bridgewater.ca/christmas. \nSENSORY FRIENDLY ZONE\nWe are excited to share that in partnership with the South Shore Chapter of Autism Nova Scotia\, a Sensor Friendly Zone will be part of the parade route this year\, from the NSCC along High Street to the upper part of Empire Street. This zone is ideal for anyone wishes to take in the parade experience but have challenges with loud noises and flashing lights. Additional deals to come!
